If it were up to me,

I'd be the community I.T. person that you'd book requests with through the public library. You'd find me next to the notary and I'd be part of a rotating staff that also support Tech Central. But how do we direct public dollars to a *better* public solution? The answer comes from "us" caring enough, and we do!

(I also recommend "Longevity Hubs" https://mitpress.mit.edu/9780262049214/longevity-hubs/ and I've been pushing it irl conversations and especially with my local chamber of commerce).

Public Wi-Fi and USB ports, unsafe?

QR codes and Bluetooth/NFC use, dangerous?

Constant password/cookie clearing, helpful?

Not anymore! Perhaps some more nuance is required on a case-by-case basis- but security professionals, CISO/CTO/CSO/IT/NSA/VP/CEOs and directors/cofounders/chronically online professionals have taken it upon themselves to draw together a blog with great points and a long credit sequence. I highly recommend and thank my tech/crypto/security/art nerd friend 'A' for putting more eyes on this.

Here's a resource I use to get a better overview of the current Microsoft Office 365 (MS365) licenses.

I'm pitching this helpful resource because I'm your I.T. technician & consultant- not Microsoft's sales rep or cloud engineer. I'm proficient in troubleshooting Microsoft products because they have a large market share and many clients use them, myself included!

But there's a large market of Office products out there and like a long-term rental, it's important to know what you're looking for and making it a reflection of what your environment needs, not just your 'today'. Whether or not you have a good idea of what you're looking for, I'll help you hone in to the correct tech and software stack for your lifestyle. It's easier for me to operate and I do feel a sense of duty relaying that so much of the Microsoft & Windows (and overall software) bloat/overhead- issues with the changes and lack of agency over any of the licensing, pricing, subscription 'features' of this software -is tied to the vendor.

If you have a Microsoft or vendor headache, no you don't.

---

WE have a vendor headache, and I'll advocate for you and your business environment so you can keep more of your energy for your personal and home life.
